Paxos & Antipaxos Blue Caves Cruise (Village Of Lakka)

Our lazy cruise to the verdant islands of Paxos and Antipaxos, south of Corfu, and the remarkable blue Caves of Paxos – offer a peek into the rugged beauty of the islands. On Paxos, you will have the chance to explore the serene harbour town of Lakka.

Our departure from Corfu-Town gives you a unique outlook over the old town with its two Venetian fortresses. As we sail south, the Kanoni peninsula and the Palace of Mon Repos come into view. We pass the tourist resorts of Perama, Benitses, the village of Kavos, and Corfu's southernmost point, the cape of Asprokavos.

Nearing the channel between Corfu and Paxos, you are treated to the magnificent sight of olive and cypress trees covering the lush island of Paxos. In mythology, Paxos was formed when Poseidon cut off a piece of Corfu with a mighty blow of his trident to create an idyllic retreat for his love, Amphitrite. Poseidon's marble palace was located in one of the blue caves of Paxos.

We can view the natural circular harbor of the picturesque fishing village of Lakka on the north coast of Paxos. The ship anchors in the centre of this colourful waterfront village. You can enjoy a walk through the narrow streets for some shopping and enjoy your lunch at one of the traditional tavernas. You will find two beautiful beaches surrounded by crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming and sunbathing just a short walk from the village.

We continue sailing south along the west coast of Paxos island, enjoying the impressive rocky coastline and the unique white sandy beaches. Next, the boat enters the breath-taking sea caves, whose clear blue waters will leave you speechless.

After exiting the caves, we arrive at the small but perfectly formed island of Antipaxos. Its sandy blue-water coves have been compared to those in the Caribbean. Here, you will have the opportunity to swim in the crystal waters of "Paradise beach" (Voutoumi).

Our excursion returns once again to Paxos from the east side of the island. We can see the small islands of Skaltsonisi and Mongonisi, the picturesque port of Gaios village, and the two small islands of Panagia and Agios Nikolaos. Throughout your trip, you are free to enjoy the sun and purchase refreshments from the bar.

We return back to Corfu with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
